Follow the progress of rebuilding a 25 year old chinese built, Nanchange CJ-6A primary flight trainer. The Ultimate Goal: to take the radial powered aircraft to the annual Oshkosh Air Show, the largest of its kind in the world, in the Summer of 2009 and compete for the best in Warbird Class restoration.
With 5 Oshkosh wins between the two of them, Alby Redick and Tim Bowers, along with their crews, have a big challenge ahead.
Aiding Alby and Tim, will be the father and son importers of the plane, the Selby's, Jim Sr. and Jim Jr. The will provide their vast knowledge of the CJ-6A with buidance, support and parts.

A story of how a diverse group of aviation professionals take on a challenge and succeed. That's not to say there won't ben any struggles and fun along the way.
Radial Flyer will be full of ups and downs as the crews scratch their head, trying to understand the Chinese language manuals and find and build parts amonst other things.
